Draft policy
Privacy.
This is a pre-launch draft. Appeal Watch expects to collect information homeowners provide to prepare property tax appeal materials, including address, parcel number, assessment notices, tax bill details, comparable property notes, repair evidence, photos, invoices, and contact information.
We use this information to provide the product: monitoring notices, decoding assessments, generating appeal materials, storing evidence, and sending reminders.
We should not sell homeowner data. We should not use uploaded personal documents to train public AI models. Production launch requires final attorney-reviewed terms, privacy policy, data retention rules, and security controls.
Data retention draft
Pre-launch waitlist data should be kept only as long as needed to contact interested homeowners or until deletion is requested. Production case files should be exportable and deletable by the user. Uploaded notices, tax bills, photos, invoices, and packet outputs should have clear retention settings before paid launch.
AI processing draft
Appeal Watch may use AI systems to extract fields, summarize documents, and draft organizational materials. User documents should not be used to train public AI models. Users remain responsible for reviewing extracted fields and final materials.
